Wear a Toga, Caesars Las Vegas Turns 40

We don't know but give us a better idea by wearing a toga on August 2. It's the 40th birthday of Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Anyone who comes clad in a toga gets a free entrance to a concert and an afterparty.

Caesars Palace's toga concert party will be at the outdoor Roman Plaza ampitheater, doors open at 7:30 pm. Jenny McCarthy is hosting, Otis Day and the Knights are playing. They, by the way, were the band that did 'Shout' at the toga party scene in National Lampoon's Animal House. The afterparty will be at Pure nightclub, doors open at 10 pm.

Who might you run into donned in a toga? Poker players, for one, possibly including the World Series of Poker players. The 85-acre Caesars Palace has the largest poker room in Las Vegas. If all poker players come in a toga, we imagine it will be like a comic con or Japanese cosplay; and, hey, that's got to be a sight to behold.
